First let me say, I am excited to be a part of Cream of the Crop Artists this year. I am Jonny Borgen, an owner/artist of JonnyBsArt. The other owner/artist is John Borgen, my husband. Almost all creations involve both of us in one way or another, John with a chainsaw or sealing up nut necklaces, myself painting.

I knew I wanted to be an artist from a really young age. Attended Minneapolis Area Vocational Institute and Minneapolis Community College right after high school for a Certificate in Commercial Art and an Associate Degree. Have been a caricature artist for over 34 years and was awarded the best on the Knot for my drawings. JonnyBsArt creations are whimsical pieces that include chainsaw carved statues, benches, bowls, serving boards, night lights as well as jewelry made from tree nuts (pinecones, buckeye nuts, and acorns). Pinecones are sliced to display snowflake unique designs in their center. Buckeye nuts are painted with flowers, dragon eyes or hearts. Acorns are used to create Acorn Cuties (swaddled babies or acorn people). Each creation is one of a kind. We are available to create custom designed pieces.
