Corey Burnett-Hanssen is an artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota though for the past eight years he has been living and working out of Des Moines, Iowa. He mainly works in the mediums of print and paint producing works from his make shift studio(the living room and/or garage) or outdoor public spaces whenever possible. His art process relies heavily upon filtering images and words from a variety of resources and then to reimage them utilizing the modern visual art elements of shape, line, form, space, texture, value, and color to define the measures of contemporary mark making and story telling within the framework of the two-dimensional surface.
