Jaida Hartwick
Drawing · Painting · Printmaking
Jaida Hartwick is an artist from Hudson, Wisconsin. She is a printmaker, painter, and drawer whose content primarily focuses on abstracted animals and nature. She loves to spend her time outside in nature and on the river during the summer. She has a pug named Tucker and a black cat named Postcard. Jaida cares deeply about marine life and conservation, so much of her work focuses on a wide range of ocean creatures.
My name is Jaida Hartwick, and animals are a huge part of my life. You could say that animals are my “why” and keep me inspired to create art. Whether it is a print, painting, or drawing, you will see abstracted animals and nature. By emphasizing the texture and patterns in my pieces, I can honor the deep bond between humans and animals by showing how their presence brings joy, comfort, and resilience. These works invite people to recognize the significance of everyday relationships and expand the conversation about not seeing innocence as naive but as a source of strength. Through my art, I aim to create a sense of community, humanity, and positivity.
Currently all of my pieces are at the Cream of the Crop Booth at the Minnesota State Fair. Once the fair is over I will have all of my pieces available on the website.
