About the Artist
Crystal Shawn is a designer, photographer and printmaker based in the Supercharged Printmakers Studio in Northeast Minneapolis. Crystal’s most recent focus has been botanical patterns, as well as prints inspired by Italy.
As an award-winning full-time Creative Director and Photographer at Framework with 20 years of experience, she has extensive insight into a multitude of industries. She enjoys designing, copywriting, branding, storyboarding, and creating imagery for statewide and national campaigns. She has a passion for both photography and typography, which she has been excitedly working on applying within the printmaking mediums after hours.
When she’s not in the studio or on location at a photoshoot, she loves to travel, spend time in the outdoors, cook, read, write and adventure or collaborate creatively with her Cinematographer/Director husband, Adam.
