Growing up I was surrounded by parents and siblings who were creative and encouraging, so art was a natural part of my life. At a young age I have always worked with my hands creating Alaskan birch bark baskets, various sewing projects, antler chandeliers, and much more. Eventually I found my passion for painting.
I love to work with acrylic paints. I particularly enjoy mixing a gel medium within my paints to create texture. In order to convey a feeling of happiness, I tend to use bright, vivid colors. Many of my paintings are related to nature, such as flowers, animals, and landscapes. My paintings are displayed in private and public collections throughout the region.
